- Our Code of Conduct -
This community is made possible by members adhering to our Code of Conduct and bringing their best selves into chat, allowing us to have a—mostly ;)—family-friendly environment where respect for others is paramount. Recruitment is based on personality and overall fit with the rest of the group. People are important to us, not their character’s item level or end game progress. You are a part of our FC family regardless of level, class, or player skill.
It’s important to us that Knights of Memory is a pleasant environment for all members, and that we can share that positivity when we interact with others outside the FC. We take our code of conduct seriously: please read the following and consider whether these are in line with how you want to play Final Fantasy XIV. By joining our FC, you are agreeing to adhere to these guidelines.
Respect Others. We are an inclusive community and support people of all backgrounds and identities. Any behavior that denigrates or harms others is unacceptable. An environment where people feel uncomfortable or threatened is not Knights of Memory. Bring your best selves to chat, and never allow your frustration to become personal attacks.
Value Yourself. If you're having an issue with someone, take it to /tells. If you can’t reach a resolution, or you are having repeated issues with another member, please let an officer (@Leader or @Steward) know and we will do our best to find a resolution. Please do not suffer in silence: you have a right to be comfortable and respected like everyone else. And for those that cause these issues: if you become a problem person, you will be removed from the community. That’s that.
Speak With Kindness. Simply be mindful, many of us swear from time to time but polite language goes hand-in-hand with respecting FC members. Avoid making others uncomfortable with your language. This includes sharing art, pictures, memes, videos, and screenshots—remember what you find funny might make someone else feel uncomfortable. If you think something is borderline, give it a spoiler tag and a content warning.
Be Good. When you interact with others in-game, you represent the FC. Please keep this in mind and act with dignity and respect.

Streaming Policy
We welcome our streamers and content creators! Keep in mind a few guidelines:
Being a guest on stream should be opt-in. If you’re live, stick to the “Streaming (Live)” voice channel and make sure everyone knows you’re streaming.
You are responsible for adhering to our codes of conduct when streaming as a KoM member—you represent the FC.
Let the group know if you plan on making VODs or highlights from content that includes FC members. Don’t use people for your content without their permission! Be cool.
While not required, it’s polite to hide your Discord overlay, in-game chat, and to abbreviate character name plates while streaming. Above all, respect your FCmates’ privacy.
